Certification of Compliance for Mag-tagz Jewelry and Kooky Beadz Jewelry
Pursuant to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (``CPSC'' or``Commission'') requirements pursuant to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (``CPSIA''), Public Law 110-314.
1. Identification of Product Covered by this Certificate:
Mag-tagz assessed conformity with the 300 parts per million (``ppm'') lead content limits in the metal and metal alloy parts of Mag-tagz jewelry, including: (1) the necklace base and all parts of the pendant and clasp on the rope (“Necklace”) and (2) the interchangeable pieces (“Tagz”). The Necklace and Tagz conform to the 300 ppm lead limits in metal and metal alloy parts of children's metal jewelry established by the CPSIA. The Necklace and Tagz also comply with the lead paint ban in the Commission's regulations at 16 CFR part 1303 banning paint and other surface coatings that contain more than 0.009 percent lead. Kooky Beadz also assessed conformity with the 300 parts per million (``ppm'') lead content limits in the polymer and metal parts of Kooky Beadz jewelry, including: (1) the necklace and all parts of the pendant and clasp on the rope (“Necklace”) and (2) the interchangeable pieces (“Beadz”). The Necklace and Beadz conform to the 300 ppm lead limits in children's jewelry established by the CPSIA. The Necklace and Beadz also comply with the lead paint ban in the Commission's regulations at 16 CFR part 1303 banning paint and other surface coatings that contain more than 0.009 percent lead.
Kooky Beadz also assessed conformity with the phthalates requirements per CPSIA Subsection 108(a) and CA Prop 65 requirements for phthalates finding no phthalates present.
